2 Killed, 2 Injured in Crash With Memphis Police Officer

Earlier this summer in this blog, we discussed statistics showing that in 2011, Tennessee police officers were responsible for causing crashes that killed four people and injured an additional 637. Sadly, a crash in Memphis last week added another four people to the list of individuals who have been harmed by speeding police cruisers. Every year, police officers cause hundreds of accidents in Memphis and throughout the state of Tennessee. According to data supplied by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, in 2011 alone, four people were killed and another 637 were injured in crashes involving police officers.
