Two Tennessee Cities in Top 10 of Allstate’s Best Driver Report — Memphis is 58th

Allstate, an insurance company, annually ranks the 200 largest cities throughout the United States in the Allstate America’s Best Drivers Report. The rankings are intended to list the safest cities first and are based on the frequency of car crashes. Memphis slid 10 spots on the 2011 report, dropping from 48th in 2010 to 58th in 2011. The report is based on the number of property damage claims made, with insured Memphis drivers averaging about 10 years between motor vehicle accidents.
