The plaintiff contends that the treating doctor discharged her without administering proper medication, although the discharge instructions allegedly wrongly stated that she had received medication.
The complaint further states that the defendant’s failure to treat the Addisonian crisis led to severe cognitive impairment. This is a long-term condition that causes a person to have memory and concentration problems, limits the patient’s ability to learn new things and make decisions that affect the person’s everyday life. This couple is seeking damages exceeding $50,000.
